Cambridge University girls told to stop noisy sex

Female students at Cambridge University have been ordered to curb late night noisy sex.

Undergraduates at women only Newnham College were warned in a misspelled email to be "discrete" because of the thin bedroom walls.

One classics student said: "I cringed. I thought it must refer to me." Another admitted: "Once I thought I was going to break the walls."

Junior Combination Room president Lizzy Cole said: "I sent the email after getting 10 complaints. But it seems to have worked."
