The beautiful ladies showed off more than their brains as they gathered last night in London for the Miss University beauty pageant.

Sexy students represented the School of Oriental and African Studies, University College London, King's College London, London School of Economics, Queen Mary and Regents College.

But the night was marred by angry protesters who had to be removed by cops from the Crystal club in Marylebone where the event was held.

The group, calling itself Miss-Ogynist University of London, said the contest degraded women.

Lillian He, 18, a politics and economics student at the School of Oriental and African Studies, said: "[The protesters] make it seem like we don't care about getting our degrees but that is wrong."
